Rants of Feral Faun
Legendary through its very obscurity, Rants and Polemics of Feral Faun was first published in 1984 and has been preserved and spread through hand-passed photocopies by a devoted cult-readership ever since. Bellowing forth in a voice both ancient yet somehow exhaustively modern, these sublime odes to self-deification and primal innocence read more like an illuminated manuscript of the Middle Ages than political "theory" or ivory tower analysis—an almost mystical anarchism for a mobile, restless tribe of deserters. This pamphlet faithfully reproduces the fiery text of the original edition with new images and provides evidence that the anarchic heresies of The Brethren of The Free Spirit were never fully eradicated, but simply went deeper underground.
