For many years High Priest Anton Szandor LaVey signed off the Church of Satan's newsletter The Cloven Hoof with the mysterious phrase "¿Nov Shmoz Kapop?". This design utilizes the typography taken from one of those newsletters to impart a "secret handshake" to those "in the know". While it is easy to find the source of the phrase in the modern age, when it was being typed out from the Black House on California Street in the 1970s, it was as occult an utterance as any medieval black mass.
